Statutory Suspension or Revocation for Non-DUI Offenses
Drug Related Crimes: § 13A-12-290 provides for the suspension of driver's license upon conviction of certain drug-related crimes: "In addition to any other penalty provided by law, the Department of Public Safety shall suspend for a period of six months the driver license of any person .... convicted or adjudicated of, or subjected to a finding or delinquency based on, the crimes specified in § 13A-12-291."
